ALBANY, N.Y. – FuzeHub, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting New York State manufacturers and technology companies, has been building a consortium of industry and academic leaders in microelectronics and semiconductor manufacturing as they pursue a $160 million funding opportunity to advance this space for upstate New York. During this meeting, the team shared their initial framework envisioned to engage the direct support of industry-leading materials expertise and assets within our region to accelerate the development of both 300mm and 200mm technologies, specifically to enable upstate microelectronics manufacturers to lead their markets in offering cutting edge new products.
Their framework includes plans to support industry partners all the way through the translation of these technical advancements into commercially available products, addressing workforce, supply chain, regulatory and other challenges.
