Upstate Makes to hold Partner Meeting at Turning Stone Resort on January 10th.
Upstate Makes — Upstate New York Materials Innovation Engine for Microelectronics
ALBANY, N.Y. – FuzeHub, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting New York State manufacturers and technology companies, has been building a consortium of industry and academic leaders in microelectronics and semiconductor manufacturing as they pursue a $160 million funding opportunity to advance this space for upstate New York.
This meeting is designed to align our Upstate Makes collaborative efforts in final preparation for submitting the upcoming grant proposal due on February 11th, 2025.
The morning session will be a roadmapping workshop to provide a perspective on where and how AI plays a critical role in advancing materials driven innovation in microelectronics fabrication and how this can be leveraged for a future NSF Engine. The session will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Krishna RAJAN of SUNY Buffalo and D. Scott Holmes, IRDS CEQUIP Lead. We recommend that technical leads and R&D partners attend the morning session.
The afternoon session will bring together key representatives from our industry partner(s) and our internal project team to review the proposal’s scope, objectives, and strategic contributions. We recommend all partners attend the lunch and the afternoon session.
More information can be found on the meeting registration page.
